RON GARRISON — Ron Garrison is a native of Arizona and presently resides and has his studio in the remote desert south of Tucson.
Garrison's thirty year passion for expression shows itself in the unselfconscious sweep of his art. From his charcoals of Pamplona, Spain and the street vendors of Paris, to the powerful universal symbols of his representational paintings, his thematic interest is ever expanding.
Ron Garrison’s works convey the power and intensity of the world around us while reflecting a Zen quality of respect for all living things, and cultures. He strives via paint to expose the essence of an idea, and his interpretation of it.
Ron Garrison’s passion is to express and portray the reality and the illusionary interplay of the human condition, with the goal being the conscious evolution of his work. His abstract works reflect the expressionist style with a focus on the tension between order / chaos, conscious / subconscious, and the obvious / obscure.
