VIP Treatment for you!!!!!!!!!!

Please join us and Deborah Bigeleisen for dinner at Ruth Chris.

How?

It's Easy...................

The first six couples to purchase an original oil painting at her November 10, 2007 show in Washington, DC will be having dinner with the artist, all expenses paid after the show with limousine transportation.

It's that EASY

See you at the show and at dinner...............

We will be featuring the luminous collection of roses and flowers by Internationally known artist Deborah Bigeleisen. Deborah Bigeleisen doesn't seem to differentiate between human and non-human. She recognizes that flowers are the outgrowth of the earth and each one has character and possesses a lush voluptuousness. Most of her paintings concentrate on a single bloom, large in size, so stunning that they command the view of the audience. The artist, through her drawing and the sophistication of her palette, captures all the fragility and beauty of her subjects.

The painterly appearance of her works belies the fact that their buttery-looking surfaces are actually created by transparent washes and layers of opaque paint. Focusing on beauty and aesthetics, she uses the glazing techniques developed by Dutch Luminist masters to achieve a depth, luminosity and aerial perspective.

Mark your calendar and come meet Deborah in person. This will be an evening of splendid beauty not to be missed!

Joanne Miller Rafferty's splashes of color and quick line convey not just a lively style and pure technique, but her intense joy in her work and deep appreciation for the abstractions found in the many faces of land, sky and sea.

Joanne was voted one of America's most popular contemporary abstract artists in 2000.

Carl Wright

"A delight to the eye and an uplift for the soul"

We are very excited to share with you the beautiful stone sculptures by artist Carl Wright this month. Carl's medium of choice is stone because of its long lasting beauty, its ability to evoke emotion and stability through the tactile feel, and its sweeping design. He sculpts abstract shapes in alabaster, marble and limestone.

Carl Wright prefers alabaster because of the color, its workability, and because it is not a homogenous color. His sculpture is characterized by the contrast of the cold hardness of the stone and the warm sensuality of the form. Carl's sculpture is a delight to the eye and an uplift to the soul. It is meant to be a soothing balm to the eye after a day in the working world. The sculptures do not shout their presence, but have an authority and stillness all on their own. Abstract stone sculpture convey different thoughts and emotions to different people. "Wouldn't it be great to be able to have some artwork that would infuse the viewer with calmness and a smile when it was looked at?" says Carl Wright.

We are very honored to represent the beautiful works by Carl Wright here in Washington, DC. Please also be sure to share his work with your friends.

Jody Wright

The Magical world of Realism

The Magical realism of Jody Wright's art captures the personality of a pet so perfectly. Jody brings each animal to life on the canvas and states that she wants the animal's soul to shine through their fur. In her work, Jody illustrates the incredible spirits within animals. She wants people to stop and think, "Look at this extraordinary spirit that just happens to be in the body of a dog." with bold colors usually not found in nature.

"When I was a child, I wondered why the Great Maker of life didn't design dogs in vivid blue," recalls Jody. "Today, as an artist, I realize that that was left up to us."
